Hotel LA TOUR

This is a picture of the Hotel LA TOUR under construction in Central Milton Keynes. I took the picture to indicate how it dominates Campbell Park. Although red at the moment I understand the final exterior will be stainless steel with a mirror finish and a 30-metre diameter stainless steel circle with a satin finish will form part the façade facing the park

The hotel 10 months later.
Detail of the hotel from the shopping centre side. The multi story car park is directly behind me.
La Tour looks rather bleak from this view, with Marlborough Gate running past a few feet in front, and the entrance to the multi story car park on the right. The hotel entrance is off Midsummer Blvd.

If you happen to be visiting Willen Lake it is worth visiting the Church at this time of year to catch the daffodil display.

Gyosei International School UK
This is the site of the Gyosei school playing fields in Milton Keynes, now called Gyosei Gardens, part of Willen Park. The school closed in 2002. The site of the school building is now Lovat Fields, a retirement village.

The stone and plaque between the benches commemorates the school.
